Job Description

Location: Jackson, MS
Employment: Full-Time
Shifts: 1 st and 2 nd shift
Pay: $28-$35

Requirements

Must be 25 years of age or older
Current Mississippi Security Guard Permit and required firearm authorization
Five consecutive years of verifiable law enforcement, corrections, military, or qualifying armed-security experience
No felony convictions or disqualifying pending charges
Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR
Must pass a background investigation and 5-panel drug screen
Legally able to possess and carry a firearm
Professional appearance, strong communication skills, good judgment, and reliability
Must be able to perform the essential duties of an armed security position

Duties

Protect clients, employees, customers, and property
Maintain a visible security presence
Monitor and patrol assigned areas
Deter and respond to theft, suspicious activity, and security incidents
Complete accurate reports
Follow AGS policies, post orders, client requirements, and applicable laws
Maintain firearm and equipment according to company policy and Mississippi law
