Job Summary

We are seeking a Recruiter - Temporary to support talent acquisition activities for a manufacturing environment in Cayey, PR. This contract opportunity is ideal for an HR or recruiting professional with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and creating a positive candidate experience.

In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and the People & Culture team to help keep the hiring process organized, responsive, and efficient. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on recruiting experience in a collaborative setting where communication, teamwork, and professionalism are valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Source qualified candidates through job boards, networking platforms, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet role requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess qualifications, experience, availability, and interest.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to support a positive and professional experience.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $19.23 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Cayey, PR.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support recruitment activities for open positions in a manufacturing environment.
- Manage candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Maintain recruiting records and candidate pipelines in the applicant tracking system.
- Partner with hiring managers and the People & Culture team to support hiring needs.

- Minimum of 1-2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related experience preferred.
- Experience sourcing candidates through online platforms and job boards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to conduct professional phone screenings and assess candidate qualifications.
- Strong organization, follow-up, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide a positive candidate experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using an applicant tracking system.
- Previous recruiting experience in manufacturing, staffing, or high-volume hiring environments.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful for supporting candidates and hiring teams in Puerto Rico.
